Linda Champanier's first love in painting was portraits, and she worked as a portrait artist for a number of years. A few years ago, she began focusing on fantasy paintings, which gave her the chance to incorporate elements of mystery, nature and spirit into her paintings. Recently, one of her paintings was featured on the cover of the fantasy book The Firebringer Trilogy by Meredith  Ann Pierce.
Champanier works in primarily in oils, watercolor or pastel. She is available for portrait commissions or contract work for publishing.
